Our Retail Protection Claims team in Hove helps customers with life insurance and critical illness claims—supporting them empathetically through often sensitive situations.
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting Claims Consultants to join our Retail Protection Claims team in Hove, offering a competitive salary of £25,000.
The Role
You’ll be a key customer-facing professional, liaising between claimants, medical professionals, and internal teams to ensure smooth, supportive claims journeys.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Speaking directly with customers about new and ongoing life insurance & critical illness claims.
- Providing empathetic, clear, and professional support—always prioritising the customer’s needs.
- Liaising with GPs, surgeries, medical professionals, and third parties to gather necessary information.
- Working closely with Assessors to progress claim tasks efficiently.
- Keeping customers updated transparently on their claim status.
- Managing claim-related admin with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identifying complaints and escalating concerns where required.
- Adhering to claims guides, processes, and compliance standards.

About the Team
Our Retail business supports customers across their entire financial lifecycle, from saving and protection to retirement. You’ll help 12.8+ million policyholders navigate their financial journeys with the latest technology and personalised care.
Requirement

- An interest in learning about insurance products, claims processes, and customer journeys.
