🔎 Major Loss Director – London / South East (Home-Based, Travel Required)
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading independent loss adjusting firm for an experienced Major Loss Director to join their Major Loss Team. This is a senior, home-based role with regular travel across London and the South East.
The Role
You'll manage and resolve complex, high-value insurance claims involving significant property damage, business interruption, or catastrophic events. This senior role calls for strong technical expertise, investigative ability, and leadership, assessing, negotiating, and settling claims while guiding and mentoring regional teams. You'll act as the primary contact for sensitive cases, overseeing site inspections, coordinating expert input, and working closely with business development to nurture key client relationships.

What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 10 years' Loss Adjusting experience
- ACILA qualified
- Excellent degree of knowledge of Major Loss related claims and principles
- Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding and mentoring teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhering to deadlines and service standards

What's On Offer
