Role Overview

Working as part of a dedicated fraud investigation team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating suspected fraudulent third-party claims
  • Handling multiple fraud types, gathering evidence, and liasing with panel solicitors
  • Assessing fraudster activity and making effective claim management decisions

You’ll work with a caseload, ensuring fair and robust investigations while maintaining high-quality outcomes.


Job Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in handling motor fraud claims
  • Proven background in claims handling, including knowledge of motor claims processes
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with suspected fraudulent claims

Core Responsibilities

  • Gathering evidence promptly and accurately—contacting parties, conducting interviews, reviewing engineer’s reports, and assessing vehicle damage
  • Managing a live caseload of claims through their lifecycle using internal systems
  • Applying a proactive approach, maintaining compliance with company standards
  • Collaborating with panel solicitors to achieve favorable commercial outcomes for Hastings Direct and our customers
  • Ensuring fair and reasonable customer outcomes
