Claims Fraud Investigator – Third Party
Location: Bexhill or Leicester (Hybrid)

Role Overview
As part of our dedicated team, you’ll investigate suspected fraudulent third-party claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of diverse fraud cases
- Gathering evidence through interviews, reports, and liaison with involved parties
- Collaborating with our panel solicitors to identify fraudulent activity
- Making effective claim management decisions
Key Responsibilities
You will need demonstrable experience in:
- Quickly and accurately compiling evidence for investigations, including:
- Contacting relevant parties
- Conducting interviews
- Reviewing engineer’s reports
- Assessing vehicle damage
- Investigating multiple fraud types
- Actively managing and maintaining a live caseload, using our systems efficiently
- Maintaining a proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills
- Partnering with our legal suppliers to achieve the best financial outcomes for Hastings Direct and our customers
- Balancing fairness—ensuring customers’ reasonable expectations are met while delivering fair outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience
- Pervious experience handling motor fraud claims (of utmost importance)
- A proven background in claims handling, with deep knowledge of motor claims processes
- ** Exceptionally high attention to detail**—critical for managing suspected fraud with integrity and accuracy
