Role Overview
You’ll be the Claims Fraud Team Leader – First Party, leading our team in protecting honest Hastings Direct customers from fraudulent claims. You’ll provide:
- Overall team support for Claims Fraud First Party Investigators
- Strategic direction for fraud prevention and performance benchmarks
- Coordination with the Claims Fraud Operations Manager to drive performance
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Manage a team of Claims Fraud First Party Investigators
- Drive and implement Claims Fraud strategy
- Introduce and monitor performance measures
People & Performance
- Ensure quality and development standards are met daily
- Conduct regular one-to-ones and team meetings
- Develop individual development plans with actionable steps
- Act as a coaching and mentoring resource for the team

Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular audit reports on team performance (frequency as agreed)
- Create bespoke reports at short notice
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in Claims or Fraud investigation
- Leadership experience – demonstrating understanding and ability to foster MLCX culture in your team
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching abilities
