About Castelan
Castelan is a leading national furniture care business, specialising in customer service and repair solutions for major retailers, insurers, and commercial clients. Our contemporary office is just five minutes from the town centre, with easy access via bus, train, bike, car, or on foot.
The Role
As a Claims Handler, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting customers through their warranty claims journey—from first contact to resolution. You’ll manage end-to-end claims, ensuring fair, accurate, and compliant outcomes while delivering a clear, friendly, and reassuring service. You’ll take ownership of your workload while collaborating with a supportive, knowledge-sharing team.
What You’ll Do
- Guide customers through claims with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, resolving queries efficiently and effectively
- Manage full claims cycles, including coordinating repairs and settlements
- Maintain accurate and compliant records
- Work collaboratively to meet team goals and performance targets
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving ability
- Good organisation and time management
- Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including accurate data entry
Ideal experiences (but not essential):
- Roles in retail, hospitality, administration, or contact centres
- Transferable skills in customer service or claims handling
Training is fully provided—no prior experience needed!
