Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Claims Handler/Advisor role based in Lincoln. The Claims Handler/Advisor will review and assess warranty claims, verify coverage and eligibility, and make timely decisions in line with company policies and procedures. The role involves communicating with motor dealers, customers, and repairers to gather information, clarify claim details, and provide clear updates on claim outcomes. The Claims Handler/Advisor will accurately record claim information in internal systems, maintain documentation, and follow up on outstanding cases to ensure efficient resolution. The position also includes invoice processing, auditing, working closely with colleagues to identify trends, supporting continuous improvement of warranty processes, and contribute to and maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Claims Handling and Claims Management skills, with experience evaluating and processing claims from initial notification to resolution.
- Candidates should possess general Claims knowledge, ideally within motor or warranty-related environments.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written correspondence, professional phone manner, and confident interaction with customers and dealer partners.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, good numerical ability, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional and courteous manner when dealing with difficult and sometimes upset or frustrated warranty holders and repairers is paramount.
- Experience in automotive, warranty, or financial services is beneficial, as is familiarity with claims management.
- A customer-focused mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in an office-based team environment are essential.
- You must have exceptional customer service skills, treating customers fairly must always be considered when dealing with warranty holders.
- Motor vehicle technical knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics are preferred; further education or industry certifications in insurance or motor trade are an advantage.

Salary
£24,500-£28,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
