Claims & Investigation Lawyer

Location: Any UK office may be considered

Contract: Permanent (minimum 3 days in office per week)

Join a leading international law firm and shape its approach to risk, claims, and compliance.

We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Claims & Investigation Lawyer to join our General Counsel’s Office. This is an opportunity for a qualified solicitor or experienced claims professional with expertise in professional indemnity insurance, claims management and regulatory matters. The Opportunity

You will support the identification, management, and resolution of claims, complaints, and professional responsibility matters, ensuring effective risk management and safeguarding the firm’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management of professional indemnity and employment claims, as well as relevant circumstances
  • Liaising with insurers, brokers, and external legal advisers
  • Supporting insurance renewal processes and advising on policy coverage issues
  • Managing and investigating client complaints while monitoring associated risks
  • Assisting with the development of policies, training materials, and internal guidance
  • Preparing reports and analysing claims data to identify trends and emerging risks
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting firm-wide compliance initiatives
  • Contributing to projects aimed at strengthening risk management, governance, and operational excellence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
