Claims Manager
Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury Solicitor
Within a busy NHS in-house Legal Team, responsible for some of the most complex and high-profile legal work in the NHS this is a key role.

Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Trust lawyers
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the internal conduct of all clinical negligence claims and personal injury claims against the Trust, including:
- Public liability claims -Employer’s liability claims

Maintain the ability to recognise when to escalate situations internally or externally for advice, working closely with NHS Resolution

Support the Trust lawyers to ensure:
- Policies, procedures, and activities in relation to claims (and potential claims) comply with:
- The Civil Procedure Rules
- Pre-Action Protocol
- Regular reviews and updates of guidance and instructions on claims handling as issued by NHS Resolution
