Claims Manager – Warranty & Indemnity (W&I)
Remote Opportunity | Insurance Litigation / Financial Lines Lawyers Encouraged to Apply
Are you an insurance or commercial litigation lawyer looking to move away from traditional private practice pressures and into a more specialist, commercial, and flexible role?
A rapidly growing transactional risk insurer is looking to appoint a Claims Manager to join its expanding Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) claims team.
This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers with backgrounds in insurance litigation, financial lines, coverage disputes, commercial litigation, or complex claims environments to transition into the W&I market.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing claims from notification through to resolution
- Reviewing transaction documents, policies, and legal submissions
- Assessing coverage positions and exposures
- Liaising with brokers, insureds, and external counsel
- Supporting claims strategy and negotiations
- Working on complex and often cross-border matters

Candidate Profile:
- 2–7 years PQE
- Strong technical legal ability
- Commercial awareness and communication skills
- Stable employment history
- Interest in developing within transactional risk insurance
The team is particularly interested in lawyers with experience in:
- Insurance Litigation
- Financial Lines
- Commercial Litigation
- Coverage Disputes
- Professional Indemnity
- Professional Negligence
