Description
We’re looking for a Claims Operations Team Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional outcomes for our clients. This is more than just a management role, it’s an opportunity to shape the future of claims handling at one of the world’s leading advisory, broking, and solutions companies. This hybrid role is based in our Ipswich office and offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across our global network including London, Mumbai, and other WTW offices as well as with clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders involved in the claims process.
The Role
As a Claims Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of claims professionals playing a key role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality claims service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day operations, performance, and development of your team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement through Operational Excellence (OpEx) principles.
- Monitor performance against SLAs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support strategic initiatives and business change programmes across Claims Operations.

Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Relevant industry/management experience
- Strong technical claims knowledge
- Proven leadership in operational or client-facing roles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change and drive process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex tasks simultaneously.
- A client-first approach, aligned with WTW’s values and behaviours.
