Claims Settlement Advisor – Bedford (MK44 3JZ)
Role Overview We are recruiting Claims Settlement Advisors to join our team based at our bedford office (MK44 3JZ). This role is responsible for managing total loss motor claims and delivering a best-in-class customer service experience.
The Claims Settlement Team works directly with policyholders on behalf of our insurance partners, negotiating and settling total loss motor vehicle claims. Successful candidates will be awarded an annual salary of £28,976.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experience by consistently improving and upholding the highest service standards for both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ensure meeting quality standards to achieve operational excellence
- Accurately and efficiently execute all aspects of the claims settlement process, ensuring timelines are adhered to
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers, taking ownership of the customer journey
- Maintain productivity targets while fostering a positive and supportive team environment
- Support colleagues, promote teamwork, and proactively share innovative ideas to enhance service
- Remain flexible for additional responsibilities as assigned by your line manager

Requirements
Essential
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to communicate and build rapport
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex claims processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-functioning team
- Self-motivated, energetic with a proactive mindset
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and data entry
- Professional, approachable, and friendly disposition, presented well
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support administrative and analytical roles
Desirable
- Previous experience in motor claim management or call centre environments
- Demonstrated continuous learning and personal development achievements
- Basic knowledge of motor vehicles (helpful but not strictly required)
