About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our FinPro National Claims team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Norwich and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a requirement to work from the office at least three days per week.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement. Leveraging your understanding of the business and existing processes, you will help identify efficiencies and champion innovation through the use of Marsh Risk's extensive suite of tools, including global data resources, client insights, AI solutions, and automation technology.
As Team Leader, you will be instrumental in supporting best practice, developing team capability, and successfully implementing new initiatives that enhance both colleague and client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Engage confidently with key stakeholders and clients, building strong and effective relationships.
- Lead the day-to-day operational activities of the team, providing guidance through change, overseeing data delivery, and supporting MI reporting.
- Ensure the team consistently achieves SLAs, KPIs, and business objectives through effective leadership, performance management, and process optimisation.
- Manage and prioritise both individual and team workloads to meet deadlines, deliver high-quality outcomes, and maintain exceptional service standards.
- Proactively monitor and drive team performance to achieve quality, compliance, productivity, and customer service targets.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, providing coaching, feedback, and support to enable individual development and success.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties, handling challenges professionally and effectively.
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, translating business strategy and objectives into meaningful team goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture that encourages collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Proven people management experience with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to actively listen, understand team needs, and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of data delivery processes and the ability to utilise data-driven insights.

- Insurance industry knowledge (desirable but not essential).
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, or business processes.

Hybrid Work Commitment
