Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita, and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR, and IS.

Overview Of Role
📍 Location: Based in Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme)
🕙 Hours: 48 hours a week (Wednesday-Saturday, fixed night shifts)
💰 Salary: £40,853.03 plus 20% night shift allowance
Join our team to deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers, and other organizations and locations, as required by the business.
Key Accountabilities
- To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
- To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
- To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximize levels of safety and fuel efficiency
- To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g., picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
- To comply with Company standards for customer service
- To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
- To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g., bread baskets, pallets, store returns, and buffer stock.
- To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
- To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g., unloading, refuelling, and washing vehicles, and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
