Job Opportunity: Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 driver to work Monday to Friday, joining our delivery team in Bellshill for our customer, Howdens, ML4 1RR.
You’ll be contracted to work 45 hours per week, with the start time window between 04:00 to 07:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Multi-drop deliveries to RDC’s & stores ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time delivery of goods
- Secure loads correctly and complete deliveries, paperwork, and returns (e.g. cages/waste)
- Maintain high safety standards, following driving laws and reporting vehicle defects
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally
- Support yard operations, attend training, and remain flexible to meet business needs
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- You’ll have a flexible approach to working patterns and start times to meet business needs
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
