Shift: 4on 4off, Days & Nights

Are you passionate about delivering excellence on the road? We're looking for dedicated and skilled HGV drivers to join our team. As a key member of our transport operation, you will ensure goods are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Fantastic Earning Potential

  • Start your shift with a solid £17.42 per hour
  • Increase your earnings with a £2.75 per hour night premium for all hours worked between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs

Driver Friendly Shift Options

  • Enjoy a predictable 4 on / 4 off rota, giving you stability and a healthy work life balance.
  • Day shifts start between 05:00hrs - 07:00hrs, while night shifts begin between 17:00hrs - 19:00hrs, offering great work life balance.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver with Confidence: Operate a curtain‑sided trailer to deliver palletised goods safely and efficiently.
  • Load Security: Ensure all goods are safely strapped and secured to prevent movement or damage.
  • Safety First: Complete daily vehicle checks using your company mobile to keep vehicles compliant and road ready.
  • Stay Connected: Maintain clear communication with the transport team to keep operations running smoothly and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take part in regular training to stay up to date with industry standards, safety, and compliance

Routes That You'll Enjoy Behind The Wheel

As a Class 1 Driver, you will cover the following routes as part of the operation:

  • Dayshift Deliveries: Collecting loads from our customer site in East Kilbride and delivering to local RDCs and wholesalers.
  • Nightshift Deliveries: Carry out shunting at our customer site in East Kilbride as well as delivering loads in to local RDCs.
  • Flexibility When It Matters: As part of delivering for our customers, routes may be adjusted at short notice to meet contract and operational requirements.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

  • UK Class 1 (CE) Licence
  • Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
