Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver – Iceland Foods (Livingston Site)

About the Role

Do you have the skills, experience, and drive to make a real difference? Are you eager to deliver groceries with a smile while helping keep Iceland shelves stocked for communities across the region? If so, join us!

We’re currently hiring flexible shifts available Class 1 Drivers at Iceland Foods – Livingston site to join a supportive and dynamic workplace.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll enjoy:

  • A 50-hour weekly contract – morning, afternoons, and nights (including weekends, typically two Saturdays a month)
  • Rotating shifts – Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
  • Annual salary of £44,200
  • Bank holidays/overtime rate: £24.28 per hour
  • A £500 new employee bonus, paid in two instalments

Additional Pay Rates

  • £1.80/hour for shifts between 06:00–07:00
  • £2.71/hour for shifts between 18:00–22:00
  • £3.36/hour for shifts between 22:00–06:00

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver multi-temperature goods to Iceland stores on multi-drop routes, handling cages and pallets safely and efficiently
  • Support with loading/unloading, ensuring empty cages and pallets are correctly returned
  • Work independently and as part of a team to quickly resolve delivery delays or issues
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging professionally with store colleagues while following company policies

Requirements

You’ll need to demonstrate:

  • A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
  • No more than 6 points on your licence (and no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT endorsements)
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
