As a Class 1 Driver, You Will
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and professionally, complying with all local and national transport regulations.
- Complete scheduled UK-wide collection and delivery routes, ensuring punctual, efficient, and reliable service.
- Carry out thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting any defects in line with company and legal requirements.
- Secure loads correctly using ratchet straps and safe manual handling techniques to protect goods and ensure safe transit.
- Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery and collection documentation quickly and accurately.
- Communicate regularly with the transport team, providing progress updates and supporting smooth operational flow.
- Liaise professionally with customers both in person and over the phone to maintain excellent service standards.
- Take part in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards and continuously develop your skills.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
- Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.
