Class 1 Driver

About the Role
At GXO Logistics, a leading name in supply chain solutions, we are currently recruiting for the following position:
- Full-time, permanent
- HGV Class 1 Drivers
- Location: Avonmouth
- Customer: Co-op (the UK’s supermarket chain and one of the largest food retailers)
Shift Pattern & Hours
- 48 hours per week
- Any 4 or 5 from 7 shifts
- Hiring hours: 04:00 – 10:00

Salary
- Annual salary: £48,170

Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
- Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient goods to Co-op stores
- Operate vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently
- Complete paperwork fully, accurately, and on time
- Comply with:
- Driver’s hours regulations
- Tachograph requirements
- Working Time Directives
- Road Traffic Act
Qualifications & Requirements
Clinical Must-Haves
- Full UK driving licence with C+E (HGV Class 1) entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements in the last 5 years
- Previous Class C+E experience is highly desirable
