Job Opportunity: Class 1 (LGV C+E) Night Trunking Driver
About the Role
Looking to be part of a close-knit team of specialist Drivers? Transporting timber got you excited? We’re actively recruiting a Class 1 Night Trunking Driver for our XPO Logistics team, working out of our Tewkesbury depot.
Key Details:
- Contract: Monday to Friday (Nights, 50 hours per week)
- Pay: £44,590.00 per year
- Location: Tewkesbury depot (UK-wide timber deliveries)
- Holiday Entitlement: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- Schedule: Mondays (PM) to Fridays (PM) with weekends off and a Christmas shutdown period

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Train and load timber onto trunking trailers
- Transport cargo between depots via trunking trailers (Mon PM–Fri PM)
- Keep yourself and the team up-to-date with industry practices through mandatory training/qualifications
Requirements
The role requires (or provides training for if new):
- Programme Accessible:
- Maximum of 6 licence points
- No DD (dangerous driving) or DR (driving & risk) endorsements
- No CU80 convictions (failure to comply with traffic regulations)
- Licences & Quality Checks:
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card
- LGV Class C+E entitlement
- Experienced drivers are preferred, though training is provided as needed.
