Class 1 Driver | Nights
Logistics done differently.
We’re looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our British Gypsum site in Sherburn in Elmet, on a permanent contract.
Pay, Benefits And More
You’ll be working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working nights. In return, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £18.19, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top. The role is PAYE.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites
- Drive new equipment and pull new trailers
- Work in an environment that is highly safety driven. Our sites are Silver Standard FORS compliant
- No manual handling, all loads are loaded and tipped by British Gypsum
What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- A full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
- No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
