Class 1 Driver/Shunter- Part Time
Class 1 Driver Shunter (Part-Time) - Thamesmead Site
About the Role
A part-time (20–30 hours/week) Class 1 Driver Shunter position, Monday to Friday, with negotiated hours and potential overtime opportunities.
- Fully funded CPC training hours included
- Air-conditioned vehicles & a 30-minute paid break
- Primarily a shunting role, with manual/handling duties as required
- Physically demanding, including work in adverse weather
Key Requirements
You will need:
- Class 1 driving licence holder
- Driver CPC holder
- Excellent customer service skills
- Shunting experience preferred (not essential)
- Multi-drop, temperature-controlled deliveries experience preferred (not essential)
- Flexibility in hours and shifts, including short-notice changes
