AM Shift
Motherwell, Lanarkshire
Planned start date of 7th July
The Role
We are looking for a number of LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
Base salary of £18.05 per hour (c£39,529) We also pay additional premium rates*, weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working of x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme
What You’ll Take On
- You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores along with some trunk runs.
- Adopt a ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
- All shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 which includes 2 full weekends in 10 and some other weekend days.
- The shift starts around 03:00, totaling 42 hours per week.
What You’ll Bring
- Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions or disqualifications.
Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Benefits
Weekend premiums (between the hours 06:00-22:00)
- Saturday - £3.00 per hour
- Sunday - £5.00 per hour
Night rate (between the hours 22:00-06:00)
- Sunday - Thursday - £3.00 per hour
- Friday - £5.00 per hour
- Saturday - £7.55 per hour (until 30/09/26)
