Location: Riddings, Alfreton
Salary: £795 per week
Flexible full-time hours (typically 18:00pm - 05:00am, 50-hour weeks, including own truck and consistent Pallet Network hub trunking routes).

The Role: Technical & Cultural Overview
- Primary focus: Multi-drop Pallet Network hub trunking – Local Routes (Leicester/Melton Mowbray area)
- Mon-Fri shifts: 18:00pm to 05:00am
- Flexibility: Willing to cover routes outside Pallet Network depending on needs – check-in log system and industry training available if promotions arise
- Psychological emphasis:
- The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and has a safety-first attitude
- Takes pride in the job, owns their own conduct and responsiveness
Requirements
- Minimum:
- 6 months’ experience in Delandrone/HGR Regional Pickup and Delivery (PalNet required) or other similar networks
- Class 1 HGV Driver’s License and determined customer-facing service skills (for fast-paced UK corridors)
- Strong preference given to:
- Drivers already familiar with or open to implementation of Pallet Network’s specific workflows (e.g., software systems, route schedules)
- Demonstrated office experience or automated upload familiarity (load planning)
