Full-Time | 40 Hours (Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends)
£34,528+ per annum | Overtime at Enhanced Rates

The Role: What to Expect
This is a driving job with a difference, that is a hands-on role for someone who likes to be physically active throughout the day, working in all weather conditions, delivering fuels and lubricants to a wide variety of domestic, agricultural and commercial customers across the North East region. You'll be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries, loading and unloading your vehicle daily—either at our depot or at designated fuel terminals - and be the face of WCF to our customers.

This role can be challenging; however, the varied nature of your day-to-day deliveries would be highly rewarding for the right person.
Please note: Overtime is a regular and expected part of the role, especially during our busy seasons. In return, all overtime is paid at an enhanced rate, giving you the chance to boost your earnings while helping us meet critical demand. Flexibility and reliability are key and highly valued.
About You
We’re looking for someone with grit, professionalism, and strong customer service values. You'll thrive here if you're:
- A qualified HGV Class 2 driver (ADR certificate with Class 3 in tanks is a strong advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Driver CPC certified
- Practical, methodical, and safety conscious
- Can manage physically demanding tasks and be comfortable with manual work during daily operations
- Have an excellent understanding of tachograph regulations
- Capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks and responsibility
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Willing to work flexible hours to support customer needs especially in colder months
