Class 2 Dayshift Driver – Gateshead
Location & Hours
Kinaxia are recruiting Class 2 Dayshift Drivers to join their team at their site in Gateshead.
- Shift: Monday to Friday (1 in 4 Saturdays)
- Season: Dayshift
- Annual Salary: £28,545.42
- Additional Monthly Benefits: Meal allowance of £108.00

About The Role
- Vehicle Safety: Complete daily roadworthiness checks
- Punctuality: Arrive on time, notify traffic office of any issues
- Compliance: Follow company procedures, customer protocols, and the Highway Code
- Safety Standards: Maintain health and safety adherence
- **Deliveries:**Complete all deliveries and collections as per manifests
- Regulations: Comply with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) rules
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and operational
- Equipment: Handle pallet truck & tail lift deliveries

Requirements & Experience
- Must hold a full LGV C (Class 2) licence for a minimum of two years
- Must possess a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
- Must own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong communication skills and geographical knowledge required
