Class 2 Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver (Local) – Booker Group


About the Role

  • Fully funded Commercial Driving Licence (CPC) training hours provided
  • Overtime opportunities available

  • You will enjoy a varied role driving locally while building relationships with our regular customers.
  • Our drivers are the beating heart of our business—ensuring customers receive timely, high-quality deliveries.

Shift pattern: A 7-day operation, including weekend shifts where required.


Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring customers’ shelves remain stocked with products for their own customers.
  • Loading stock onto vehicles at the branch and unloading it accurately at customer premises.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork correctly.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A Cat C/18T Licence (HGV Class 2) or ability to obtain it with fully funded training.
  • At least two years of driving experience (delivery experience is preferred).
  • Ability to handle manual deliveries (where necessary).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an excellent customer service attitude.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and manual dexterity for tasks such as paperwork and stock handling.
