Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Class 2 Driver role based in Amesbury. The Class 2 Driver will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 vehicle to deliver flooring products, accessories, and tools to trade customers and sites, following planned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic checks, adhering to all road safety regulations, and representing Salesmark West in a professional and customer-focused manner. The driver may also support warehouse activities, such as:
- Assisting at the trade counter
- Picking orders
- Helping with stock handling when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license, with a clean or low-point driving record; valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Strong road safety awareness, knowledge of UK driving regulations, and experience operating commercial vehicles in delivery or logistics roles.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and unload goods, with sound manual handling skills and attention to product care and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Strong reliability, time management, and organizational skills to follow delivery routes, meet schedules, and maintain documentation.
- Basic numeracy and literacy for reading manifests, completing paperwork, and checking orders against delivery notes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team, with a proactive, flexible attitude toward assisting in the warehouse and trade counter when needed.
- Previous experience in flooring, construction, or trade distribution environments is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn product ranges and company processes.
