Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Class 2 Driver role based in Walsall. The Class 2 Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver and collect plant hire equipment to and from customer sites. Daily tasks include:

The role also involves:
- Communicating with the hire desk and customers to confirm delivery details
- Providing a professional and courteous service
- Reporting any issues or defects promptly
The driver will follow all relevant road safety regulations and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving experience and familiarity with operating a Class 2 Truck.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or equivalent UK professional driving license appropriate for Class 2 vehicles.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Clean driving record, good knowledge of local routes around Walsall and the surrounding areas, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, handle manual loading/unloading, and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Previous experience in plant hire, construction, or a similar sector is beneficial.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
