Here at our site in Carlisle, we’re working in conjunction with some high-end garment retailers and looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team. You’ll be working an average of 48 hours per week (across a 17-week reference period), with start times from 04:45 – 06:00, covering a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll receive:
An hourly salary of £13.88 A yearly bonus of £924.56 paid in January, if you have an accident-free year! Holiday pay (28 days, inclusive of bank holidays), rising to 29 days after 1-year service A workplace pension Access to a variety of high street discounts, via ‘Perk box’ A cycle to work scheme

Complete vehicle and load checks prior to leaving site to ensure that both are safe and fit for purpose Assist the customer in the unloading and movement of products into store stock rooms (this is a store delivery role and will involve manual handling) Assist the customer in the unloading of returns and dekitting Maintain responsibility of completing the driver debrief sheets Ensure that you drive in a safe, lawful, and efficient manner at all times, abiding by all tacho regulations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A full UK driving licence with cat C entitlement No more than six penalty points (No IN, TT, DR, DD, DG or CU endorsement codes) An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC) An in-date Digital Tachograph
