Class 2 HGV Driver (Permanent, Full-Time, Dartford)
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF DARTFORD MAXIMUM
- Pay Rate: £38,209.76 + performance bonus (up to £1,800)
- Grade: P
- Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
- Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 5am start – nights away will be required
- Location: Dartford, DA1 5FD

We're currently seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to support our operations. Your role will focus on:
- Ensuring safe, timely deliveries
- Contributing to the efficiency of our nationwide network
Responsibilities
✅ Typical duties may include:
- Performance bonus is based on absence records, disciplinary cases, accidents, driving infringements, and internal microsile system performance.
- Nights away required – this role operates from 9 sites, requiring travel to what could be any of them (this includes working from Cambridge or Basingstoke, which may reduce nights away).
- Manual handling will be an essential part of this role.
- Delivering everything engineers need for trackside work.
- Driving safely, adhering to Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Complying with health and safety standards at all times—you must also follow The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
- Undertaking regular vehicle safety checks.

Suitable For
✅ Criteria for you:
- Possess a valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence.
- Hold a Driver CPC qualification and a Digital Tachograph Card.
- Be willing to consider newly qualified drivers.
