Class 2 HGV Driver/Operative
Veolia HGV Class 2 Driver
Salary: £35,997 per annum, plus Veolia benefits Overtime: Additional overtime available, paid at:
- x1.5 on Saturdays
- x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Work Details
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:18 PM)
Location: Veolia Brent Municipal, 2-7 Marsh Road, HA0 1ES

What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving up to 26-tonne collection vehicles on planned routes
- Assisting with loading waste and containers as required
- Completing daily vehicle checks per Driver Operator Handbook
- Using onboard technology to record work notes
- Complying with all traffic laws, security, and weight requirements
- Ensuring carriageways are left clean and spillages cleaned up
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Valid UK Class 2 Driver’s Licence
- Current CPC/DIGI card
- A can-do attitude with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations
Desirable
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Experience in the waste industry
- Familiarity with rear-steering expertise
