Class 2 Hiab Driver
HGV 2 (C) Hiab Driver – Temporary Position
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 (C) Hiab Driver to join our team on a temporary basis. The role involves operating an HGV 2 (C) Hiab vehicle for clients based in Gorton, working closely with railway contractors. This opportunity is ideal for those with experience driving HGV 2 Hiab (C) vehicles, demonstrating strong communication skills and a professional approach while prioritising safety at all times.
Overview
This is a temporary position that demands adherence to strict safety protocols and operational efficiency in the logistics and transportation sectors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an HGV 2 Hiab (C) lorry in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including compliance with driving hours regulations

Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 Hiab (C) driving licence, with a clean driving record
- Valid Hiab licence
- Strong communication skills for effective team liaison
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
Pay Rates (PAYE)

Day Hiab Driver Pay: £17.00 per hour (basic) Overtime after 8hrs: £25.50 per hour

Night Hiab Driver Pay: £18.00 per hour (basic) Overtime after 8hrs: £27.00 per hour

Weekend Driver Pay: £19.00 per hour (basic) Overtime after 8hrs: £28.50 per hour
