A Class 2 HIAB Driver is required for a permanent, full-time position based in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB remote hook experience to join a well-established business offering a competitive salary, regular weekday hours and excellent earning potential through overtime and on-call payments.
Current drivers are on track to earn around £45,000 per year.

Salary
- Basic salary: £35,000 per year
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- On-call allowance: £90 per week whilst on the rota
- On call rota: 1 week in every 3
- Saturday callouts: paid at time and a half with a minimum of 4 hours paid
- Sunday callouts: paid at double time with a minimum of 4 hours paid
- Expected earnings: £45,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane using a remote hook
- Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Following all transport legislation and company procedures
- Adhering to site health and safety requirements
- Providing a professional and courteous service at customer locations
Qualifications
Essential
- Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Current HIAB certificate with remote hook experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar HIAB delivery role
