Driver Hire Winchester are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of a leading general haulage company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional operation delivering palletised freight to businesses across the UK.
The Role
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays on a rota basis
- Start time: 7:15am
- Long-distance deliveries across the UK
- Delivering palletised freight to commercial customers
- Use of pump truck for unloading pallets (some sites may unload via forklift)
- Completing daily vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork accurately

What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
- Previous experience with strapping loads
- Experience driving 18 tonne or 26 tonne curtain-side tail-lift vehicles
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and health & safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
