G.F. JOB LIMITED is a long-established Highlands-based company delivering a wide range of civil engineering and related services. Role Description

The Class 2 Tipper Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based at our Castle Craig Quarry, Nigg initially and working between our highland sites as and when required. The driver will operate Class 2 tipper trucks to transport aggregates, soils, and other materials to and from quarries, construction sites, and customer locations.

Daily tasks include:

  • Carrying out vehicle safety checks
  • Loading and tipping materials in line with site procedures
  • Completing delivery documentation
  • Adhering to company and legal safety standards

The role also involves:

  • Communicating effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and customers
  • Maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Truck Driving with safe operation of tipper vehicles and strong awareness of road and site safety.
  • Valid CDL Class A or equivalent large goods vehicle license appropriate for Class 2 operations.
  • Strong Communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, colleagues, and site contacts.
  • Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and site representatives.
  • Experience working with trucks in construction, quarry, or civil engineering environments is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of local routes, basic vehicle maintenance checks, and compliance with transport regulations.
  • Ability to work flexibly, meet delivery schedules, and follow health and safety procedures consistently.
