Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Class 1 and 2 Drivers based in Hengoed. The role involves operating company trucks to transport goods between depots, customer sites, and distribution centers, following assigned routes and schedules. Drivers will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure secure loading and unloading of cargo, and complete delivery documentation accurately. The position also requires adherence to safety regulations, maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle, and communicating effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers. Class 1 and 2 Drivers are expected to represent Lithium Logistics professionally and provide courteous service during all customer interactions.

  • Strong truck driving skills with experience operating Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, including safe handling and maneuvering.
  • Valid license Class 1 or 2 driving, with a clean driving record.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to coordinate with dispatch and interact with customers professionally.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle checks and ability to identify and report maintenance or safety issues.
  • Familiarity with transport regulations, driving hours rules, and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to follow route plans, use navigation tools, and manage time to meet delivery schedules.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early starts or occasional weekends if required.
  • Previous experience in logistics, haulage, or transport operations is beneficial.
