About This Role
St Charles are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils. You will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues and will adapt their teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing, and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils
- Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
You Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Maintain a safe learning environment and follow safeguarding procedures
- Be a creative and dynamic teacher who puts children first
- Be positive, forward-thinking, and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Support the aims and vision of Catholic education and the wider trust
- Be committed to raising standards and promoting positive behaviour
- Be dedicated to making school life rewarding and enjoyable for all

St Charles is a primary school in Hadfield, Glossop. We ensure our pupils receive an enriched and challenging curriculum which develops the whole child- spiritually, academically, socially, morally, physically, and culturally.
