Fixed Term Class Teacher Position – Hamstead Primary School

About the Role

Governors are seeking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic class teacher to join our hardworking team in a fixed term contract, starting September 2026—subject to clearances.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a passionate, creative practitioner who inspires and motivates pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Maintain high expectations for all students and remain committed to raising standards and achievement.
  • Deliver engaging, creative lessons and activities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of differentiated learning methods to support diverse pupil needs.
  • Build and sustain good relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Share and uphold school aspirations for children’s learning and wellbeing.
