Class Teacher – Maternity Cover at Felix Primary School
About the School & Role
Felix Primary School, based in Felixstowe, Suffolk IP11 9ED, is seeking an exceptional Class Teacher for a part-time (0.4 FTE) Maternity Cover position starting September 2026 (Reference: 5261).
MPR / UPR Salary: £13,166 – £20,419 annually.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Deliver highly effective teaching, understanding best practices in instruction and classroom environments.
- Establish clear communication, a warm demeanour, and a space where pupils feel valued and supported.
- Emphasise inclusivity, fostering a comportemental environment with high expectations and positive relationships.
- Work closely with colleagues to raise standards and improve pupil outcomes.
- Be an active participant in collaborative leadership, engaging with parents and the Trust to sustain and enhance excellence.
- Specialize in inclusion & SEND provision, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
