About the Role

Sacred Heart Primary School is seeking an experienced and inspirational Class Teacher to join their team, particularly with Key Stage 2 (KS2) experience. The successful candidate should demonstrate:

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead a highly effective KS2 classroom, setting high expectations for both themselves and learners
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and KS2 National Assessments
  • Lead ** initatives** to improve teaching and learning
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and harmonious learning environment (Not essential but advantageous: Experience with Read Write Inc or Mastery Maths)

Requirements & Commitments

  • DBS check (including a Children’s Barring List Check)
  • Proven track record as an excellent KS2 class teacher
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and leadership skills
  • Full-time position with an expected start date in January 2027 (subject to clearances)
  • Essential requirement: Fluent spoken English (in line with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare (adherence to KCSIE requirements)
