About the Role
A friendly and well-established Greenwich primary school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to lead a Year 2 class from January. This one-form entry school offers a close-knit team environment and a calm, well-structured approach to teaching and learning.
The class is settled and responsive, with strong routines already in place. You will be supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant and a proactive leadership team that prioritises planning support and manageable workload.
The Ideal Candidate
The school hopes to appoint a Primary Class Teacher who:
- Has strong KS1 experience and curriculum knowledge
- Is confident preparing pupils for KS1 assessments
- Delivers engaging, well-paced lessons
- Maintains high expectations and positive behaviour
- Communicates effectively with parents and colleagues
