Classroom Teacher

Classroom Teacher - SEN School (SEMH), Ramsgate
Are you a resilient, passionate, and engaging Teacher looking to make a lasting impact in a specialist education setting?

A specialist SEN school in Ramsgate, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for Teachers who are committed to supporting young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support to achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where relationships, consistency, and positive engagement are at the heart of everything they do.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
  • SEN or SEMH experience is beneficial, but not essential

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and academic progress
