Clean Team Member (Aylesbury) | Part-Time | £13.10 per Hour
Location: Bank (Aylesbury, FWC Site) Type: Part-Time (pay based on hours worked rather than set contracts)

About the Role
As a Clean Team Member at one of our Nuffield Health Club locations, you’ll support our commitment to customer excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining areas like gyms, changing rooms, showers, and poolside spaces to the highest hygienic standards
- Preparing spaces for operational use, ensuring they’re safe, clean, and inviting
- Working with the latest cleaning equipment (including scrubber dryers, rotary machines, and carpet cleaners)
- Adhering to structured cleaning protocols and reporting any issues (e.g., maintenance needs, defects)
You’ll work under the guidance of a Team Leader but will require self-motivation, reliability, and attentiveness to detail. Your friendly demeanour and communication skills will help create a positive experience for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare all areas in the club, including lockers, reception, changing areas, and practise facilities
- Ensure a high-standard cleaning finish at all times, conducting deep cleans as scheduled
- Safely operate specialist equipment (rotary machines, floor cleaners, etc.)
- Monitor and dispose of waste efficiently, following waste segregation policies
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and issues regarding cleanliness
- Contribute to health and safety best practices in line with our policies

Person Specification
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Work independently while still following procedures and supervision guidelines
- Have a t multaj tion to detail—no shortcuts, just a pride in excellence
- Be flexible and adaptable to meet business demand (no fixed hours—part-time based on availability)
- Demonstrate strong hygiene awareness and an ability to maintain stringent standards in a fast-paced environment
- Possess basic numeracy/literacy skills to complete documentation and track cleanliness tasks
- Commit to ongoing training in cleaning techniques, product use, and health & safety requirements
Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory—train and support will be delivered.
