Cleaner
Salary – £12.71 per hour
Hours – 10 hours per week (shift pattern to be confirmed)
Location – Penrith, CA11 8GU
As a Building Cleaner at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments across our sites. You will carry out duties in a professional and respectful manner, ensuring high standards are met at all times.
This vacancy is for a part-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard across designated areas
- Working safely in line with company procedures and health & safety requirements
- Using equipment and materials correctly and safely
- Reporting any issues, hazards, or concerns to your supervisor promptly
- Following instructions and completing tasks efficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Providing a courteous and professional service at all times
Please note, this role will involve physical activity.
What are we looking for?
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with the general public
- Ability to work to high standards and take pride in your work
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible approach to work
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements (training will be provided)
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential
