Cleaner
Join Our Team as a Cleaner – Make a Difference Every Day!

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Location: York Service Centre, Clifton Moor, York, YO30 4UU
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 9.75 hours a week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 2 hours a day, Friday 1 hour and 45 minutes - Anytime between 6am and 3pm.

About the Role
Please note the site is an industrial garage/vehicle service centre.
Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:
- Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
- Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
- Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and manage their own time
- Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
What We Offer
Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
- 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service (plus bank holidays)
