About The Role
Pay & Conditions
- Grade: Grade 1 SPC 3
- Annual Salary: £25,949 (pro rata)
- Hourly Rate: £13.45/hour
Hours & Working Pattern
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 3.30–6:00 PM
- Term Time: 12.5 hrs/week (38 weeks)
- Recess (Holidays): 12.5 hrs/week (3 weeks)

Job Description
To:
- Assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building clientele.
- Cover other cleaners during holidays, sickness, staff shortages, or other absences.
- Occasionally assist the Chargehand Site Supervisor in training new cleaning staff.
- Undertake all cleaning tasks, including:
- Carpet cleaning & steam cleaning
- Site specification cleaning
- Builders cleans
- Recess cleaning
- Any other cleaning tasks not normally specified on-site
About You
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in the cleaning industry or a cleaning-related discipline/environment.
- Basic understanding of cleaning tasks to deliver efficient and effective premises cleaning.
- Good verbal communication skills, including ability to interact with:
- Members of the public
- Client officers
- Physical ability to perform manual and active labouring duties.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to changes in priorities and demands.
- Willingness to work irregular hours.
- Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale of Glamorgan or between locations as required.
