Cleaner
Location: Mayott House, OX14 5DH
Hours: 12.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 2.5 hours per day), permanent contract
Salary: £8,742.50 (pro rata)
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and self-motivated Cleaner to join our team at Mayott House, helping to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas, lounges, dining areas and guest rooms to a high standard.
- Ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and free from hazards.
- Using cleaning products safely and in accordance with COSHH requirements.
- Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Carrying out routine health and safety checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Reporting repairs and health and safety concerns promptly.
- Taking residents’ needs into account when planning daily tasks.
About You
- Positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Able to work independently and use own initiative.
- Understanding of the needs of older people.
- Approachable, helpful and professional.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous cleaning experience desirable.
