The Role
Your primary responsibility is to ensure all areas of the pub are cleaned to the highest possible standard, enhancing the customer experience through excellent cleanliness at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness in all customer-facing and operational areas, including:
- Customer areas
- Toilets
- Bar
- Kitchen
- Staff areas
- Outside spaces
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, following standard operating procedures
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are required
- Reporting maintenance and pest-management issues to the duty manager
- Maintaining polite and professional interactions with customers (e.g., greeting, thanking, farewelling)
- Completing all required induction, refresher training, and contributing to continuous improvement
Opening Times & Flexibility
The pub operates early mornings to late nights, offering great flexibility with shift patterns including:
- Mornings (~6am–8am)
- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Late finishes

Eligibility & Working Conditions
This role may not be suitable for individuals under 18 due to shift patterns (early mornings, late finishes, and lone-working requirements).
However, other front-of-house or kitchen-based roles might be available for younger applicants.

Reports: 10 hours per week
- Monday – Sunday: 6:00–8:00 (Standard rotation – specific shifts apply; check with our team for further details).
