Job Title: Cleaner

About the Role
As our Cleaner, you’ll ensure that cleaning standards are consistently high, equipment is well maintained, and Health & Safety is always followed.
Rate of Pay: £13.98 per hour
Contract: Permanent, part-time hours
Hours: 3 hours per week
Location: Essex & Suffolk Water, The Waterworks | Wallpole | Halesworth, Suffolk | England | IP19 0PL
Responsibilities
- Ensure cleaning equipment remains clean, well-maintained, and operate safely
- Adhere to specified cleaning schedules and meet all Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets
- Develop deep knowledge of the designated cleaning area, equipment, and chemicals used
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols and complete required training
- Work effectively both collaboratively and independently, with a focus on excellence in customer service

Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have clear communication and basic English literacy skills
- Ideally, but not required, have previous cleaning experience
- Are flexible, proactive, and self-driven
- Possess an open, honest, determined mindset
- Are reliable, hardworking, and demonstrate a professional demeanour
